Lancaster and Morecambe AC runners Carole and David Wilkinson ran the annual Malta Half Marathon on Sunday the 23rd February 2025.

Over 3000 runners enjoyed good running conditions and an 08.15 start ensured it wasn't too hot.

David completed the course in 1:54:46 and Carole finished just behind in 1:54:57.

Carole's excellent time was rewarded with a 1st place in the Female V65 category.

Carole was later presented with a locally handmade wooden trophy.

The large trophy could be split into 4 parts for easy transportation home.
