Committee Meeting - 8 September 2025

1. Apologies Victoria Nicholson, Toby Nicholson.

2.Maintenance/Management of Clubhouse.

Dan reported that
- He now has a key, which will open the gate next to the clubhouse. Club is grateful to Salt Ayre for this initiative.
- Work is still required on some of the electrical sockets.
- At the moment, the club does not monitor for Legionella in the clubhouse. Dan is planning to start such a survey.
- A workday will be planned to carry out general tidying of the track and clubhouse. Members will be involved and this includes Juniors.
- PATS testing is required in the clubhouse.
- Angus to produce a risk assessment for the clubhouse.
- Although it is unlikely that there are any significant asbestos containing materials in the building, a survey will be carried out.
- The committee decided to raise the suggested donations for use of the clubhouse - For events with less than 25 people - £75. For events with greater than 25 people - £100.

3. New Cross Country Training.

Mark is introducing new training sessions for cross country.

4. Senior Road Running Training.

Brendan asked if the sessions were progressive and if so, were road runners aware of this. It was confirmed that this was the case.

5. Membership.

Emily reported that club membership is now 92 Senior and 129 Junior. The Junior waiting list is shortening.

a) Charlie reported that the new, revised website is now live. Committee members thanked him for his work on this project.
